How my Garden Grows

When we first moved into this house the backyard was over run by 8 huge coastal rosemary shrubs and weeds. Over the last year and a half we've taken out the shrubs and replaced the weeds with three 1.2m squared veggie beds and a long rectangular one.

We also had to get the fence replaced and in doing that had to get rid of the agapanthus along the fence line, which wasn't that hard to part with. Along that path we planed rosemary, thyme, violets and helleborus.

One of my favourite parts of the garden is the old wheel barrow we picked up at the tip for $10. It was originally planted out with lemon balm, brahmi, marigolds, nasturtiums, thyme and chamomile. All that's left in the wheel barrow now is the brahmi and thyme plant. I really like  how the brahmi falls over the edge of the wheel barrow like its overflowing.
